Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s DDS drive controllers have a modular design and are made up of different components, with the DDS drive controller as the basic unit. Their modular design makes it possible to flexibly combine AC servo and main drives to create a compact drive package that uses a single supply unit. The DDS drive controllers have a wide range of applications, including machine tools, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE77-00-FW by Bosch Rexroth is used for motion control in motors with the resolver feedback or digital servo feedback system. Its maximum peak current is 100A, and it requires a DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of +/-15%. This DDS model can be connected to an Indramat supply unit with a regulated DC 24V voltage. It is equipped with the SERCOS interface for communication with other control units. The SERCOS interface carries out its functions via fiber optic cables that can be purchased from Indramat. It also provides inputs for evaluating reference switches, travel range limit switches, and sensor inputs.
For adequate function, the DDS02.2-W100-BE77-00-FW should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and maximum relative humidity of 95%. It should also be installed at a height of 1000m above mean sea level. Heat dissipation from this DDS model is within the control cabinet; air conditioning might be required in some cases. In addition to being used for heat dissipation, the control cabinet also houses the supply unit. It has an Ingress protection rating of IP 10 which means that it is protected from penetration by hands and objects with diameters greater than 50mm.
