Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive and automation systems are used in the global drive industry for a wide range of industrial applications. The DDS drive system is one of the company’s products, and it is composed of components like the DDS drive controller. The modular drive controllers become rapid-response drives when combined with AC servo motors such as the MDD, MKD, ADF, and 1MB series. They are used in handling machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and textile machines.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE43-01-FW is one of the models of drive controllers in the DDS series by Bosch Rexroth. It is built with a SERCOS plug-in module to interact with high-level control units. The module is also used to operate digital drives with SERCOS-compatible controls using fiber optic cables. These cables ensure the rapid and secure transfer of data and must be ordered as separate items from Bosch Rexroth. An additional benefit of the SERCOS module is that it offers inputs to evaluate sensor inputs, travel range limit switches, and reference switches. This Version 2 DDS model can be used for motion control in motors with digital servo feedback or resolver feedback and requires a DC bus voltage of 300V with a +/- 15% allowance.
Due to its compact size, the DDS02.2-W100-BE43-01-FW can be mounted in a control cabinet with its supply unit. The supply unit can be anyone from Indramat with a regulated DC 24V voltage. This drive controller also uses heat technology to cool. Here heat is expelled within the control cabinet. The Ingress Protection of the control cabinet is IP 10 according to EN 60529. This implies that solid extrinsic objects over 50mm cannot penetrate it.
