Product Description
The DDS drive controllers are designed and produced by Bosch Rexroth. They are components of the modular DDS drive system, which gives a high level of configurability. Majorly, DDS drive controllers comprise hardware and firmware components. When connected to AC servo motors such as the MDD, MKD, and LSF motors, they operate as rapid-response drives. The DDS drive controllers are used in printing and packaging machines, textile machines, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE33-01-FW is a second-edition drive controller in the DDS series. Like other controllers in this line, it can be connected with only INDRAMAT supply units with a regulated DC 24V voltage. It is compatible with all AC motors with a digital servo feedback encoder and a resolver feedback encoder. It also utilizes heat technology as a cooling system; hence, it must be installed in a large control cabinet, requiring little effort during installation. This drive controller can conduct a maximum peak current of 100A. Because of its SERCOS interface, it can be used to operate drives with SERCOS-compatible controls using fiber optic cables.
The INDRAMAT power cable is ideal for connecting the DDS02.2-W100-BE33-01-FW to AC motors. The cable features three lines for motor cable connection and one line for protective power connection. This drive controller is compatible with firmware, which is to be purchased as a separate sub-item. It is best operated in a space with a maximum temperature of +45°C and maximum absolute humidity of 25g/m³. In addition, this product is best stored in a space with a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, and it can be installed at a maximum height of 1000m above sea level.
