The DDS02.2-W10BE12-00 is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s DDS drive controllers. It is a Version 2 type that is suitable for motion control in motors with digital servo feedback or resolver feedback. It requires a 100A rated current for its operation and a DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of ±15%. The SERCOS plug-in module of this drive controller works with a fiber optic cable, and it aids its communication with other control units. This fiber optic cable is used for operating digital drives with SERCOS-compatible controls and should be purchased separately from Bosch Rexroth. Another function of the SERCOS module is that it provides inputs to evaluate travel range limit switches, reference switches, and sensor inputs.
Mounting the DDS02.2-W10BE12-00 in a control cabinet ensures space optimization. The drive controller is mounted with its supply unit, which can be any Indramat supply unit with a regulated DC 24V voltage. Its cooling option is heat technology, where heat is dissipated within the control cabinet. During the operation of this DDS drive controller model, the ambient temperature should be maintained between 0oC and 45oC. The relative humidity at the operation site should also not exceed 95%, while the maximum installation height is 1000m above sea level.
