Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has been manufacturing automation products for a long time, and the DDS drive controller is one of these. The DDS drive controllers are components of the DDS drive system, which is modular in design. They can be combined with AC servo and main drives to create a compact package that uses a single supply unit. To create a rapid-response drive, they are used in conjunction with AC motors from Bosch Rexroth like the MDD, MKD, LAR, LAF, LSF, 2AD, ADF, 1MB, and MBW motors. The drive controllers have a wide range of applications, including machine tools, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE11-01 is cooled via heat technology. With this cooling method, heat is dissipated within the control cabinet; hence, it requires the least amount of mounting and installation effort. The compact design of the drive controller also supports this cooling method as it allows its installation in a control cabinet. Its plug-in module is the SERCOS interface which facilitates communication between the drive controller and connected control units. The SERCOS interface carries out its functions via fiber optic cables that are purchased separately from Bosch Rexroth.
The connections and terminals of the DDS02.2-W100-BE11-01 between 5V and 30V are protective low-voltage systems. The drive controller has a protection rating of 1P 20 according to DIN 40 050; hence it prevents the entry of solid extrinsic objects of 12mm or more. It should be installed at a maximum height of 1000m above the mean sea level and mounted with its supply unit. It functions at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%.
