Product Description
The DDS drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth are designed to be used with AC motors like the MDD, MKD, LAR, LAF, LSF, 2AD, ADF, 1MB, and MBW motors. Combined with any of these motors, they become rapid-response drives with extensive functionality. Such drives are used in machine tools, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, robotics, and handling machines. The drive controllers are also components of the DDS drive system. Thanks to its modular design, the drive controller and AC servo and main drives can create compact packages that require a single supply unit.
The DDS02.2-W100-BE09-01-FW consists of a basic unit, plug-in module, software module, and firmware (software and plug-in modules). Its peak current is 100A, and it can be connected to an Indramat supply unit with a regulated DC 24V voltage. It is cooled via heat technology, allowing heat dissipation within the control cabinet. This cooling mechanism requires the least amount of mounting and installation effort. It is also equipped with terminals for starting lockout to prevent involuntary startups of the connected motors when there is a fault.
The feedback of the AC motors connected to the DDS02.2-W100-BE09-01-FW can be either digital servo feedback or resolver feedback. The communication module of the drive controller is the SERCOS interface which allows live communication between the drive controller and other control units. This SERCOS interface carries out its functions with fiber optic cables that can be purchased from Indramat. It should be installed at a maximum height of 1000m above the mean sea level and mounted with its supply unit. It functions at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%.
