Product Description
One of Bosch Rexroth’s highly functional drive systems is the DDS drive system. The innovative system is composed of AC servo and main drives and drive controllers such as those in the DDS series. When these drive controllers are combined with motors such as those in the MDD, MKD, LAR, LAF, LSF, 2AD, ADF, 1MB, and MBW series, they become rapid-response drives.
The DDS02.2-W050-BE24-01-FW is a model of drive controllers in the DDS series by Bosch Rexroth. It is a Version 2 type with a rated current of 50A and a designated DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of ±15%. The plug-in module in this drive controller is SERCOS, and it uses a fiber optic cable for information exchange. The cable can also be used to operate digital drives with SERCOS-compatible controls. In addition, the plugin module provides inputs that are used for evaluating travel range limit switches, reference switches, and sensor inputs. The motors that can be connected to the drive controller are those with either digital servo feedback or resolver feedback as their motor feedback options.
Heat technology is the heat dissipation mechanism of the DDS02.2-W050-BE24-01-FW. In the cooling method, the heat that is generated during the device’s operation is dissipated within its control cabinet. As a result, a large control cabinet and air conditioning are required. It also supports the use of firmware. The Ingress Protection of the drive controller is IP 20 according to EN 60529, while its control cabinet has an IP rating of IP 10. Also, the permitted ambient temperature at the site of its operation is between 0oC and 45oC, and its maximum elevation height is 1000m.
