Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth DDS drive controller comprises a basic unit, plug-in modules, software modules, and firmware (software and plug-in modules). It can be easily combined with AC servo motors and drives to form a compact package that uses a single power supply. This is due to the modular design of the DDS drive system where the drive controller functions. When combined with AC motors by Bosch Rexroth like the MDD, MKD, LAR, LAF, LSF, 2AD, ADF, 1MB, and MBW motors, the device becomes a rapid-response drive.
The DDS02.2-W050-BE16-02-FW is a servo motor in the DDS drive system that is compatible with servo motors with either digital servo feedback or resolver feedback. It has a rated current of 50A and can be connected to all Indramat supply units with a regulated DC 24 V voltage. Its communication module is the SERCOS interface which allows for real-time and high-performance communication between the drive controller and the control unit in use. The interface permits this communication to be done via fiber optic cables. These cables and others used for the device’s connections should be ordered from Bosch Rexroth.
The connections and terminals of the DDS02.2-W050-BE16-02-FW between 5V and 30V are protective low-voltage systems. The drive controller is compact, supporting its installation within control cabinets. Its cooling system is by heat technology, allowing heat dissipation within the control cabinet. This cooling method requires the least amount of mounting and installation effort. It should be installed at a height 1000m above the mean sea level and can be mounted with its supply unit. It functions at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%.
