That way, the state-of-the-art drive controllers are rapid-response drives. They are also components of the DDS drive system used in textile machines, robotics, handling machines, and printing and paper-processing machines.
The DDS02.2-W015-BE18-01-FW is a digital drive controller in Bosch Rexroth’s modular DDS drive system. It is a Version 2 type of the DDS drive controllers, equipped with a SERCOS plugin module for communication with compatible digital drives. The SERCOS plugin module works with a fiber optic cable, which ensures that all signals are safely and rapidly transferred between both units. It also offers inputs for evaluating reference switches, travel range limit switches, and sensor inputs. Heat dissipation in this DDS drive controller model is with the heat technology mechanism where heat is eliminated within its control cabinet. Therefore, a large control cabinet is required here, but it is relatively easy to mount and install.
With an Ingress Protection of IP 20, the DDS02.2-W015-BE18-01-FW cannot be damaged due to the entry of solid extrinsic bodies larger than 12mm. It supports motors that have digital servo feedback and resolver feedback. It also uses firmware that fixes its functional features, but this must be ordered separately from Bosch Rexroth. The rated current for its operation is 15A, and its DC bus voltage is 300V with an allowance of ±15%. An ambient temperature that ranges between 0oC and 40oC is required for the operation of this drive controller and a maximum installation height of 1000m.
