The controller delivers 200 Amps rated output under specified ambient conditions that include relative humidity of up to 95%, elevation of up to 1000 meters and ambient temperature of up to 40 degrees Celsius. The heat sink attached to the DDS02.2-A200-BE81-00-FW for improved heat dissipation is usually mounted outside the drive cabinet. This helps to reduce the internal temperature of the cabinet as about 80% of the heat dissipates outside the cabinet. The DDS02.2-A200-BE81-00-FW supports two types of motor feedback mechanisms including resolver feedback and digital servo feedback. A resolver is an electrical transformer used to measure the angle of rotation. Many resolvers appear similar to electric motors comprising of copper windings on the stator and a machined metal rotor. The DDS02.2-A200-BE81-00-FW can be deployed for control of motors that support resolver feedback or digital servo feedback. Bosch Rexroth motor product lines that are compatible with DDS controllers include 1MB inductance motors, MBW inductance motors, ADF inductance motors, LAR liner inductance motors, MKD synchronous motors and MDD synchronous motors. The command communication module installed on the DDS02.2-A200-BE81-00-FW supports SERCOS. This is an industrial standard for real-time communication over fiber optic cables. The nodes on a SERCOS network are connected in ring topology. Upgraded versions of the standard such as SERCOS III that support higher data rates are also supported by DDS drives.
