Product Description
DDS drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth are modular in design and consist of a drive controller (basic unit), plugin modules, software modules, and firmware (in software and plugin modules). Different drive controller functions are stored in the software module, and the firmware fixes the function features of the drive controller. The DDS02.2-A200-BE11-02-FW modular concept makes it easy to combine AC servo and main drives to create one compact drive package which uses one supply unit. Connections between the drive controller and the motor feedback should be by cables from Rexroth Indramat.
The DDS02.2-A200-BE11-02-FW communication is via the SERCOS interface, a plugin module controlled by fiber optic cables. The connections on the drive components and interfaces range from 5 - 30 V, and they belong to the safely isolated electrical circuits (low protective voltages). The cooling method is by cold technology and has the advantage that most of the energy dissipated by the unit is directly conducted outside and is not accumulated within the control cabinet. It can be mounted into a small control cabinet or housing without requiring extensive heat conductance or heat exchanging units.
For optimal function, the DDS02.2-A200-BE11-02-FW should be operated at an ambient temperature of 45°C, relative humidity not greater than 95%, and the setup height should be 1000 m above the mean sea level. It is designed to be mounted into a control cabinet that meets the protection requirement of IP 10. Hence, the unit is protected against penetration by a solid extrinsic object whose diameter exceeds 50 mm. It is, however, not protected against penetration by water, intentional accessing by a hand, but it will keep larger body surfaces out.
