Product Description

The Bosch DDS02.2-A200-BE11-01-FW is a 200 Amps rated drive controller. The controller function ID is 01. The controller function ID version is 00. The controller is widely used for industrial control applications. The DDS series is well suited to applications such as packaging machines, printing machines and textiles. The DDS series is compatible with motors from Bosch. The compatible product lines include MDD synchronous motors, MKD synchronous motors, LAR linear motors and LSF linear motors. DDS controllers are modular and can be adapted to different customer applications. The basic unit of the controllers has a slot-based architecture. Two slots are reserved and three slots are available for plug in hardware modules. The reserved slots are U1 and U5. A software module installs in slot U5 and a command communication module installs in slot U1. The software module is where the drive firmware and operating parameters are stored.

The firmware for each DDS controller is ordered separately. The DDS02.2-A200-BE11-01-FW includes a SERCOS command communication module. This module allows communication between SERCOS-enabled devices over a fiber optic network at speeds of up to 4 Mbps. One of the major advantages of fiber-optic based communication is ring topology which provides protection from single fiber cuts and single node failures. The DDS02.2-A200-BE11-01-FW supports resolver based motor feedback and digital servo based motor feedback. The feedback feature allows the DDS02.2-A200-BE11-01-FW controller to closely track motor parameters and to control them. The DDS02.2-A200-BE11-01-FW controller is designed for cold technology which relies on airflow outside the cabinet. The heat sink on the DDS02.2-A200-BE11-01-FW controller is mounted outside the cabinet leading to 80% heat dissipation outside the cabinet. The DDS02.2-A200-BE11-01-FW is designed for professional installation by trained personnel.
