Product Description
The DDS drive system is a modular system by Bosch Rexroth where AC servo and main drives can be combined to create drive packages that require just one supply unit. The digital drive controllers of the DDS series are the drive controllers in this system. They can be used to create rapid-response drives used in textile machines, machine tools, printing and packaging machines, handling machinery, and robotics.
The DDS02.1-W200-DS41-01-FW is a Bosch Rexroth DDS digital drive controller. This Version 1 model is equipped with a SERCOS interface as its plug-in module, allowing the secure exchange of data via a fiber optic cable. It is designed to be mounted with its supply unit within a control cabinet of IP 10 protection rating according to DIN 40 050. Like other drive controllers in this series, it can be connected to all INDRAMAT supply units with a regulated DC 24V voltage. The control cabinet that houses both components protects them from damage due to the penetration of solid objects with a diameter of 50mm or more.
Only motors with digital servo feedback can be operated with the DDS02.1-W200-DS41-01-FW. To dissipate heat, it uses the heat technology cooling mechanism where the cooling airflow is present within the control cabinet. The ideal DC bus voltage for its operation is 300V with a ±15% tolerance, and it has a current rating of 200A. The Ingress Protection rating of this digital drive controller is IP 20; hence, it is touch-proof and resistant to dust and solid objects larger than 12mm. The maximum relative humidity for its maintained optimal operation is 95%, and it requires an ambient temperature between 0oC and 45oC.
