The DDS02.1-W200-DL08-01-FW is a sophisticated industrial drive controller designed by Bosch Rexroth to carry out the accurate monitoring and control of electrical motors used in industrial production and processing applications. The controller is a modular design that meets the IP20 protection class, it is also cost-effective and can be used with a broad range of Rexroth Indramat industrial motor series including the MDD, MKD and the LAF motor series. The controller is tested by independent evaluators, and certified to be perfectly safe before it is delivered to the end user. However, the operational safety of the controller is only assured if the controller is used according to the instructions in the documentation delivered with the device. The controller is also covered by a 1 year warranty that covers any damage that occurs in the case of the proper operation of the controller. The customer is expected to receive the DDS02.1-W200-DL08-01-FW drive controller as a fully configured device. A fully configured controller is made up of a basic unit, compatible plugin modules, software modules and the firmware. The configuration modules are inserted form slot U1 to U5 in the basic unit of the drive controller. Also, the rated input current required by the controller is by 200 amperes. The DDS02.1-W200-DL08-01-FW controller features a unique housing design that allows the efficient dissipation of the heat generated in the controller during normal operation. An additional air blower can however be used with the controller to support the temperature process by forced ventilation. The controller is an environmentally friendly device that does not have any negative impact on the environment under normal operation. Also, the maximum installation height for the controller is 1000 meters above sea level.
