Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures some of the world’s most efficient drive and motion control units and systems. The company is the brain behind the DDS drive system with the DDS drive controllers used to control and monitor electric motors. The drive controllers are also components of rapid-response drives created with servo motors like the MDD and MKD synchronous servo motors and the LAR and LAF linear inductance motors. They are used in textile machines, machine tools, and robotics.
The DDS02.1-W200-DA11-00 is a drive controller in the DDS series by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with an ANALOG interface as its plug-in module. The interface ensures that the drive controller can be used to operate digital intelligent AC servo drives with conventional controls. It also provides control outputs and signal outputs that are used for communicating with a connected control system. Heat dissipation in this DDS digital drive controller model is by the heat technology mechanism. Here, heat is eliminated within the control cabinet that houses the drive controller. Hence, the control cabinet should be large and air conditioning should be used. The control cabinet also plays a protective role as solid extrinsic objects with a diameter larger than 50mm cannot penetrate it.
The required DC bus voltage for the operation of the DDS02.1-W200-DA11-00 is 300V with a tolerance of ±15%. It has a rated current of 200A and an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20 according to EN 60529. This indicates that it will not admit solid objects larger than 12mm but is not protected against water jets. Only AC servo motors with a digital servo feedback system can be operated with this DDS drive controller.
