The DDS drive controller series comprises digital drive controllers used for the control and monitoring of electric motors. They are components of the innovative DDS drive system by Bosch Rexroth. They also serve as rapid-response drives, specifically when combined with motors of the MDD and MKD synchronous servo motor series and those in the LAR and LAF linear inductance motor series. The drives obtained this way have numerous applications such as textile machines, handling machinery, machine tools, robotics, and printing and packaging machinery.
The DDS02.1-W200-DA06-01-FW is a digital drive controller in the DDS drive system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features an ANALOG interface that allows the operation of digital intelligent AC servo drives. The plug-in module also has control inputs and signal outputs for communicating with a control connected to it. The cooling mechanism of the drive controller is heat technology, where heat dissipation is done within the control cabinet. As a result, a large control cabinet and air conditioning should be used. This control cabinet houses the drive controller and its supply unit and cannot be penetrated by solid objects larger than 50mm.
Only servo motors with a digital servo feedback system can be connected to the DDS02.1-W200-DA06-01-FW. It supports the use of firmware, which determines its functions and which must be ordered as a separate item. It is operated with a rated current of 200A and a DC bus voltage of 300V with a ±15% allowance. The permissible ambient temperature for the operation of this drive controller falls between 0oC and 45oC. It also requires a maximum permissible relative air humidity of 95% and a maximum installation height of 1000m above sea level.
