Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive controllers are used for controlling electric motors and to monitor their operations. The DDS drive controllers are components of the DDS drive system that can be used to create rapid-response drives. This can be achieved by combining them with the synchronous motors of the MDD and MKD series or the linear inductance motors of the LAR and LAF series. The resulting drives are used in machine tools, textile machines, robotics, handling machinery, and printing and packaging machinery.
The DDS02.1-W200-DA06-00 is a digital drive controller of the DDS series by Bosch Rexroth. It adopts a method of cooling known as heat technology. This method requires the installation of the drive controller within a large control cabinet with air conditioning. This is because the heat generated is also dissipated within the control cabinet. One advantage of this heat dissipation method is that it requires minimal mounting and installation efforts. The drive controller is also compatible with motors that have a digital servo feedback system for the control of their speed and position.
The rated current of the DDS02.1-W200-DA06-00 is 200A. Its designated DC bus voltage rating is 300V with a tolerance of ±15%. Its plug-in module is an ANALOG interface that allows the drive controller to be used to operate digital intelligent AC servo drives with conventional controls via an analog interface. The control cabinet for this drive controller houses its supply unit as well and has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 10 according to DIN 40 050. This is because it will not admit objects larger than 50mm in diameter. The maximum permissible ambient temperature for its operation is 45oC.
