The DDS02.1-W150-DS04-02 is a digital industrial drive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to control the operation of inductance and synchronous motors used in the industrial servo system. This controller operates in combination with the MDD, MKD and LAR industrial motor to form a rapid response drive that is compatible with a wide range of industrial production devices such as the metal forming machine, printing machines, food processing machines and lots more. The housing of this drive controller meets the IP20 protection class, it is also specially structured to allow for the direct integration of the controller into the industrial servo system. The operation of this drive controller can only be supported by a regulated 24 volt power supply unit, operating the controller with an unregulated power supply unit can affect the efficiency of the controller and cause the sudden breakdown of the controller in the servo system.
The DDS02.1-W150-DS04-02 industrial drive controller is very flexible in its operation as it is supplied to the operator as s fully configured unit made up of special plugin modules, software module and a command communication module. The rated continuous input current required by this drive controller for optimum operation is about 65 amperes, however the controller can also operate with a current as high as 150 amperes without experience any damage.
The DDS02.1-W150-DS04-02 operates with a SERCOS command communication module which controls the exchange of digital signals between the controller and all other parts of the servo system. The maximum permissible height at which this controller can be operated is 1000 meters above sea level, also, this drive controller should not be operated at an ambient temperature that exceed 50 degree Celsius.
