The Bosch DDS02.1-W150-DS04-01 is an advanced drive controller. As per the product type code, the series is 2 and the version is 1. The function ID for the drive is 04 and the function ID version is 01. The drive controller can be used for applications that include robotics, grinding machines, assembly equipment, packaging machines and printing machines. The drive control, monitoring, parameterizing and diagnostics functions are digital and are performed by a dedicated signal processor. Each controller is comprised of a basic unit, drive firmware, plug in modules and a command communication module. Two slots on the basic unit are reserved for the software and command communication modules. Three slots can be used to accommodate optional plug in modules.
