DDS02.1-W150-DA07-02-FW is an advanced drive controller. It is designed by Bosch Rexroth. The controller is part of the DDS product line. DDS controllers have a modular design: the basic unit can has slots that can accept designated and optional plug in modules. Designated modules include a software module and a communication module. Three slots for optional plug in modules are available on DDS2.1 controllers. Operators can operate the controller with power supplies that deliver 24 Volts DC regulated output. Operators must take care to not operate DDS units with a TVM 1.2 supply, as its output is unregulated. DDS controllers can be used with several motor product lines, including linear motors such as LAF and LAR motors, and synchronous rotary motors such as MKD and MDD motors. The DDS02.1-W150-DA07-02-FW controller supports digital servo feedback, which allows accurate control of motors parameters such as speed and position. It is equipped with an analog communication interface. If required, operators can order SERCOS, Interbus-S and single axis position control modules for the communication slot. Firmware for the controller has to be ordered as a separate item. The reason for this requirement is to ensure that operators select firmware, and therefore controller features, that match application requirements. Rated current output of the DDS02.1-W150-DA07-02-FW is 150 Amps. Continuous current rating of the unit is 65 Amps. It is designed for air cooling and comes in an IP20 rated housing that mounts vertically. Specified limits for ambient temperature and altitude are 0 to 45 degrees Celsius and 0 to 1000 meters respectively. Only qualified personnel should handle the
