Product Description
With the Bosch Rexroth DDS drive controller models, AC servo motors and main drives can be integrated to create compact drive combos that require just one supply unit. This integration is possible because of the modular design of the drive controllers. They can also be connected to all supply units from Indramat with a 24V DC voltage and act as rapid-response drives when connected to the MDD and MKD synchronous motors and the LAR and LAF linear inductance motors. These motors are also manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The drives are used in machine tools, printing and packaging machinery, and robotics.
The DDS02.1-W100-RS04-03-FW is one of the DDS drive controller models designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features a SERCOS communications module whose connections are done using a fiber optic cable. The fiber optic cable can also be used to operate the digital drive and offers inputs that can be used to evaluate reference switches, sensor inputs, and travel range limit switches. The cooling method of the drive controller is heat technology. With this cooling option, the cooling airflow is within the control cabinet, and the use of a large control cabinet is required.
Only motors with Resolver feedback can be connected to the DDS02.1-W100-RS04-03-FW. It operates with a rated current of 100A and a recommended DC bus voltage of 300V with a ±15% tolerance. This drive controller model is designed to be mounted in control cabinets which meets the protection category IP 10 according to DIN 40 050. Hence, it is protected against solid extrinsic materials with a diameter exceeding 50mm. It also requires an ambient temperature between 0oC and 45oC.
