Product Description
AC servo motors and main drives by Bosch Rexroth can be combined to create a compact drive package using the drive controllers of the DDS series. The drive package uses just one supply unit, and this combination is possible thanks to the modular concept of these DDS drive controllers. The drive controllers can also be combined with the MDD and MKD synchronous and the LAR and LAF linear inductance motors to create rapid-response drives. The applications of these drives are seen in equipment such as machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, packaging machinery, robotics, and handling machines.
The DDS02.1-W100-RS01-01 is a drive controller in the DDS drive system featuring a heat technology cooling mechanism. This means its generated heat is eliminated within its control cabinet. Because of this, it requires the use of a large control cabinet but demands minimal mounting or installation efforts. Its software module is a SERCOS interface that allows real-time communication between the drive controller and its control section. This communication is facilitated by using a fiber optic cable and it offers inputs for different kinds of functions.
The rated current of the DDS02.1-W100-RS01-01 is 100A and its designated DC bus voltage is 300V with a ±15% tolerance. It is only compatible with motors that use the Resolver motor feedback system and supports firmware use. This firmware has to be ordered separately. The motor is housed in a control cabinet that has a protection rating of IP 10 according to DIN 40 050. Hence, it cannot be damaged by the penetration of solid external objects with a diameter of 50mm or more. It is not protected against jets of water.
