Product Description
To simplify work for operators of automation systems worldwide, Bosch Rexroth constantly develops innovative ways of designing these systems. For instance, a digital drive system can be created with the drive controllers of the DDS series and the MDD and MKD synchronous motors or the LAR and LAF linear inductance motors. Together, they form a compact drive package that requires just one supply unit. In this situation, the DDS controller is a rapid-response drive.
The DDS02.1-W100-DS41-00-FW is a model of drive controllers in the Bosch Rexroth DDS02 series. It is a Version 1 type whose basic unit can be set up to suit different functions using modules. For its cooling, it is built with a heat technology mechanism where the heat generated during operation is dissipated within the control cabinet. This cooling system necessitates the use of a large control cabinet for the drive controller, but it is easy to mount and install. With digital servo feedback (DSF) as its compatible motor encoder system, only motors with this feedback system can be operated with the drive controller.
The ideal DC bus voltage for the operation of the DDS02.1-W100-DS41-00-FW is 300 V with a tolerance of ± 15%. It is designed for operation while mounted in a control cabinet, thanks to its compact and space-efficient build. This control cabinet protects the drive controller from damage by the penetration of solid extrinsic objects over 50 mm in diameter. Hence, it has an IP 10 rating according to DIN 40 050. The drive controller itself has an IP 20 rating, ensuring that even without the control cabinet, it is protected from solid extrinsic objects.
