DDS02.1-W100-DS40-02-FW is a pre-configured, ready to be deployed Servo Drive. This model comes with a DIAX02 basic controller and can be coupled with MKD, LAR, and MDD type of AC motors. The DDS family drives are known as rapid-response. The DDS02.1-W100-DS40-02-FW is configurable for a variety of applications including but not limited to; robotics, packaging machinery, printing, textile, etc. this drive controller has a modular construction. This 100A rated model is offered in DS40-02-FW configuration and has three pre-deployed modules; DSS01.3-FW, DRF01.1, and DSM02.1-FW.
The DSS01.3 plug-in module is the main command and communication module. This module enables the drive controller to operate the attached motor using SERCOS based commands. The two-digital diagnostic display provided on the front panel offers quick information about the present status of the drive or persisting faults. You can easily identify problems and troubleshoot using the error-code directory available on the drive`s documentation. The DDS02.1-W100-DS40-02-FW features 2 x outputs for analog monitoring of signals. These outputs can be connected to an external oscilloscope.
This drive controller comes with an integrated oscilloscope function that allows position and velocity sampling at an update rate of 250usec. At one time as many as 2000 samples can be taken and then transmitted through the SERCOS interface. The internal oscilloscope function of the DDS02.1-W100-DS40-02-FW eliminates the requirement of an external, digital storage oscilloscope. The main benefit of an internal oscilloscope is that the signals being processed by the drive can be captured on a real-time basis without any distortion and noise. The unoccupied module slots of this drive unit can be used for additional position feedback inputs either digital or analog. The SERCOS interference allows the transmission of both external feedback data and motor feedback data to the control system.
