The DDS02.1-W100-DS13-01-FW is a type of Version 1 drive controller in the DDS02 series. It is a modular device that can be flexibly integrated with AC servo and main drives to create drive packages that require only a single supply unit. Specifically, it is compatible with the powerful MKD and MDD synchronous motors and the LAR and LAF linear inductance motors to make it a rapid-response drive. The recommended DC bus voltage for its operation is 300V with a +/- 15% allowance, and it operates with a rated current of 100 A. The drive controller is cooled by implementing heat technology where a cooling airflow dissipates heat within the control cabinet that it is mounted in.
The permissible ambient temperature at the site of operation of the DDS02.1-W100-DS13-01-FW is in a range between 0o C and 40o C. The maximum relative air humidity is 95%, while the maximum installation height is 1000 m. It has an IP 10 Ingress Protection rating per EN 60529 as it will not admit solid objects larger than 50 mm in diameter. It supports the use of firmware, which defines its functional features, but this must be ordered as a separate subitem.
