Product Description
The driving force behind Bosch Rexroth’s success in the global drive market within the last couple of decades is the company’s commitment to excellence. All its products are meticulously designed to capture users’ needs and meet them in the most effective way possible. This can be seen in the DDS drive system; a digital drive system made up of smart drive controllers like the DDS02.1 series and powerful motors like the MDD, MKD, LAR, and LAF motors.
The DDS02.1-W100-DS12-00 is one of the drive controllers in the DDS02.1 line created by Bosch Rexroth. This model is a Version 1 type with a current rating of 100A. Its maximum peak current and continuous current values are 100A and 40A, respectively, and it is operated with a DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of +/- 15%. To dissipate heat generated during its operation, it utilizes heat technology with the cooling airflow within the control cabinet. As a result, this control cabinet must be large and protect the drive controller from damage due to the entry of objects over 50mm. Hence, it has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 10 according to DIN 40 050.
Using a SERCOS interface, the DDS02.1-W100-DS12-00 communicates with other system components. To achieve smooth information transfer, it uses a fiber optic cable for the operation of its connected digital drives. It also ensures the evaluation of reference switches and travel range limit switches by offering inputs for these. The servo motors that can be connected to this drive controller have to be equipped with the digital servo feedback system (DSF) for the control of speed and position.
