The DDS02.1-W100-DS04-01 is a DDS series drive controller from Bosch Rexroth. It is used for motor control in industrial applications. DDS drives are convection cooled and use air from inside the control cabinet for cooling. This means that large cabinets may be required for ensuring that the ambient temperature remains within the specified range. Air conditioning may also be required for maintenance of ambient temperature. The permissible ambient temperature range for drive operation with rated data is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The maximum ambient temperature range for drive operation with derated data is 55 degrees Celsius. The storage and transport temperature range for the DDS02.1-W100-DS04-01 is -30 to 85 degrees Celsius. The maximum recommended elevation for drive operation with rated data is 1000 meters. The maximum permissible relative humidity is 95%.
The maximum permissible absolute air humidity is 25 grams per cubic meters. The rated output of the DDS02.1-W100-DS04-01 drive is 100 Amps. Integrated drive features include digital servo feedback and SERCOS command communication. The SERCOS drive interface is a serial real-time communication system that enables operation of AC motors that are equipped with a SERCOS interface. The operating modes enabled by SERCOS include position loop, torque loop and velocity loop. The DDS02.1-W100-DS04-01 cools via natural convection and is designed for heat technology i.e. use of cooling air from inside the cabinet. This means that heat sink on the drive has to be mounted inside the cabinet. The DDS02.1-W100-DS04-01 drive controller is only allowed to be used under specified ambient conditions and for applications that are specified in the user manual.
