The DDS02.1-W100-DL03-01-FW is an advanced digital drive unit. It is designed by Bosch for industrial applications that include textiles, robotics and machine tools. The nominal current output of the DDS02.1-W100-DL03-01-FW is 100 Amps. The drive delivers rated output when it is operated under specified ambient conditions that include 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature, 0 to 1000 meters altitude and up to 95% relative humidity. The output of the DDS02.1-W100-DL03-01-FW derates i.e. falls below rated values if the ambient conditions do not comply with those that are recommended by the manufacturer. The maximum derating of 20% due to high ambient temperature occurs at 55 degrees Celsius. Operation of the DDS02.1-W100-DL03-01-FW above 55 degrees Celsius is not permitted. The maximum derating of 35% due to high altitude occurs at 5000 meters. Operation of the DDS02.1-W100-DL03-01-FW above 5000 meters is not permitted.

The DDS02.1-W100-DL03-01-FW can malfunction and fail if the ambient conditions are outside recommended values. The drive is designed for control of linear and synchronous motors. Weight of the drive system is approximately 7.5 kilograms. Firmware for the drive system has to be ordered as a separate subposition.
