The DDS02.1-W050-DS56-00-FW model is developed as per UL standards and is extensively used in several motion control systems for controlling and monitoring the operations of the attached electrical motors. The DDS02.1 drive controller comes with a DEA04.2 input/output interface which is installed in the U2 slot of the controller and assists in exchanging the binary signals between controller and PLC. U3 – U4 slots are empty and can be customized according to the required operations. The firmware module should be ordered separately according to the configuration of the drive controller. To display faults and errors, an H1 alphanumeric display is provided in this model along with an S1 reset key. The model uses air from outside the cabinet to control the ambient temperature of the system. During installation, make sure that the surrounding air does not contain any reactive or dust particles. The DDS02.1 drive controller must be installed vertically in the control cabinet of appropriate protection. The model takes rated power through TVM or KDV power supply modules through a 24 VDC regulated supply.
The model DDS02.1-W050-DS56-00-FW required 50 A of rated current to operate its internal circuit. The drive controller shares data through an optical fiber cable which is connected to a SERCOS interface. An RS232 interface is provided in this model to make an electrical connection with the VT terminal or computer. U1 slot is equipped with a DSS01.3 SERCOS interface card and the motor feedback connection is developed through an X4 port. According to the DDS instruction manual, the controller should be installed in the environmental temperature range of 0 to +45 degree Celsius.
