The Bosch Rexroth DDS02.1-W050-DL09-00 drive controller is associated with a 09 function ID code. The controller encompasses a “Bb” ready-to-operate contact that closes when it is ready to receive power. The contact has a continuous and short-term switching capacity of 24VDC/1A. The product also has two analog diagnostic outputs that generate drive internal variables for test purposes. This device can be connected adjacent to another controller by means of DC bus rails. Its control electronics is supplied by means of the X1 connector. The unit supports a connection to a VT-100 terminal or a PC through the RS 232 interface.
The controller features a three-phase connection for connecting the motor power cable. This cable has three lines for the motor power connection and one line for the protective conductor connection. The signal lines of the product have to be routed away from the supply lines to avoid interference. These signal lines should make use of D subminiature plugin connectors or plugin clamps. The device should always be mounted on the back wall of a control cabinet. The L+, L- and PE terminals are connected using M5 screws with a tightening torque of 3Nm.
This product must have a minimum 80mm clearance at the top and bottom of the control cabinet in which it is mounted. The cool air enters the cabinet through the bottom and the hot air gets discharged from the top. The controller comes with an IP 10 degree of protection as per DIN 40 050 specifications. The unit features protection against an extrinsic solid object that has a diameter of more than 50mm. It must be ensured that when multiple controllers are connected adjacent to each other, the controller with maximum output and a high current level is placed closest to the supply unit.
