The industrial automation is greatly dependent on state-of-the-art motion control devices manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The company provides a wide range of drive controllers and servo motors used to automate devices such as printing machines, packaging machines, transfer facilities, and robotics. The DDS02.1-W025-DS01-01-FW model of the drive controller features support for RS-232 communication interface, for which a designated connection point is provided at the control board. The DDS02.1 drive controller is capable of operating with 25A of current consumption during rated load. This model allows operation in flexible temperature range from 0 to +45 degree Celsius. Above this, the permissible maximum temperature is +55 degree Celsius which may show a data loss. The correct firmware is necessary for precise and accurate operation. The firmware is not included in the package but can be ordered separately from the supplier. The function i.d. is fixed by Indramat. A separate port for ground connection is provided at the back side of control unit. The ground connection to supply unit must be done before starting the motor. In case of a malfunction, a fault reset key is provided which allows resetting the device to factory settings. The DDS02.1 drive controller passes through various inspection stages that eliminates any possible error to achieve top-notch product quality. The model DDS02.1-W025-DS01-01-FW is designed to serve at a maximum altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. The drive lockout control feature is available at connection point X3. At the terminal X2, RS-232 interface connection for VT-100 terminal or PC is provided. The motor power cables from a three-phase current source must be connected at their designated ports A1, A2 and A3.
