The Bosch DDS02.1-W025-DL05-00 is a DDS series drive controller. It is an air cooled device that relies on natural convection cooling. Forced air cooling can also be used with fans and blowers for improved cooling. The rated output of the DDS02.1-W025-DL05-00 is 25 Amps. The function ID for the drive is 05 and the version of the function ID is 00. Motor feedback technology supported by the DDS02.1-W025-DL05-00 is digital servo feedback. This features enables the drive to receive feedback from the connected motor and to control is parameters such as speed, torque and position. The DDS02.1-W025-DL05-00 drive has a modular architecture which allows drive adaptation to different customer requirements. The drive comes with a pre-installed single-axis positioning communications module. This module expands the drive controller to create a standalone single-axis positioning unit.
This control can be programmed with a maximum of 3000 program blocks. Each program block contains the instruction set for one specific state or motion sequence. The software module contains both the drive firmware and operating parameters. The software module can be easily copied to other modules for fast drive configuration and commissioning. In case of drive failure, the software module can be removed and installed on a replacement drive. Three slots are available on the basic unit of the DDS02.1-W025-DL05-00 for optional plug in modules. A wide range of plug in modules are available including input/output interfaces, incremental position interface, summing input interface and ARCnet interface. The DC bus on the DDS02.1-W025-DL05-00 carries a nominal voltage of 300 Volts DC with 15% tolerance. The permitted temperature range with rated data is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The drive enclosure is IP20 rated.
