The DDS02.1-W015-RL02-01-FW model reflects the state-of-the-art manufacturing technology of Rexroth Indramat. The model is specially designed to control and monitor the functions of the MDD synchronous motor, MKD synchronous motor, LAR inductance linear motor, and LAF inductance linear motor. The DDS02.1 drive controller is a part of a digital intelligent drive system and is recommended to be used with TVM and KDV power supply modules. A regulated 24 VDC power supply module is required to connect the drive controller with the INDRAMAT supply unit. The controller operating at ±15 VDC consumes 150 mA of power and the controller operating at 24 VDC of power consumes 500 mA of rated power. The DDS02.1 drive controller can operate at its full efficiency at the maximum ambient temperature range of +45 degree Celsius with the maximum installation height of 1000 m/sea level. The model uses heat technology to maintain the overall temperature of the system. The drive controller is specially designed to operate at the continuous current of 15 A, and a resolver feedback module is installed in this controller for accurate position detection.
The model DDS02.1-W015-RL02-01-FW is designed as per American standards and the firmware module (DSM02.1-FW) for this controller must be ordered as a separate sub-item. Slot 1 of the drive controller is equipped with a DLC01.1-FW single-axis positioning module and the DEA04.1 input/output interface module is installed in the U2 slot of the controller. Slot 3 is equipped with a DEA05.1 input/output interface module whereas, slot 4 is empty.
