The Bosch DDS02.1-W015-DS05-00 is a digital drive with SERCOS interface. The DC bus on the drive has a nominal voltage of 300 Volts DC. The continuous current rating is 15 Amps. The drive is air cooled and requires 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature for optimal performance. It is designed to be used in conjunction with MDD servo motors and is well suited to various industrial applications. The function ID of the drive is 05 and the function ID version is 00. The drive can be operated with output derating at temperatures of up to 55 degrees Celsius. Operation of the drive at temperatures that exceed 55 degrees Celsius is not allowed. The drive can be operated at altitudes of up to 1000 meters without output derating.
The drive can be operated at altitudes of up to 5000 meters with output derating. The drive should be protected from corrosive gases and vapors during both operation and storage. Protection category of the drive housing is IP20. For improved environmental protection, the drive can be mounted inside an industrial cabinet. The DDS02.1-W015-DS05-00 supports digital servo feedback. The DDS02.1-W015-DS05-00 can be powered from all Indramat supply units with a regulated 24 Volts DC output. The basic unit of the drive can be adapted to different functions by the use of different optional plug in modules. The drive software module contains both firmware and drive parameters. Different functions require different software modules. The software module that is selected depends on both the hardware configuration and the functions of the drive. The software module can be easily moved to another unit if required. All configuration and operation of the DDS02.1-W015-DS05-00 should be performed by trained personnel.
