The DDS02.1-K150-DS08-00/S002 model is designed according to the IP20 protection standard and it can be used to monitor the functions of the MDD synchronous motors. A blower unit is attached to this controller for cooling purposes in which the blower uses external air to maintain the internal temperature of the controller. The DDS02.1 drive controller can be customized by installation desired plug-in modules in the U1 – U5 slots of the drive controller. The model takes input power directly from the 3-phase AC power source and a 24 VDC supply unit is also attached to execute control operations. The model controls the position and the speed of the motor through its motor feedback connection and to share data between the controller and the motor a SERCOS interface is provided in this model. The front panel of the drive controller is equipped with an H1 status display that shows the warning error signals and in case of any fault, an S1 fault reset key is also provided at the top of the status display. A configuration rating plate is also placed at the front of the controller that contains all of the technical details of the controller.

The model DDS02.1-K150-DS08-00/S002 comes with safe torque-off operations and the continuous current required by the controller is 150 A. The DDS02.1 is a microprocessor controller drive controller that executes the program-specific operations. The firmware module (DSM02.1) is installed in the U5 slot of the drive controller. The drive data can be stored by a 3.6 V battery. The average service life of the drive battery is approximately 10 years.
