The DDS02.1-K050-DA01-00/S002 is one of the latest and most sophisticated productions of Rexroth Indramat to control the general operation of synchronous and induction motors used in industrial production systems. The DDS02.1-K050-DA01-00/S002 drive controller can be configured to meet the motor control requirements of highly sophisticated production machines such as packaging machines, hoisting machines, food processing machines, paper converting machines and lots more. The housing of this industrial motor is designed according to the IP10 protection class; it is also specially designed to allow for the easy integration of the motor into any position in the industrial servo system. This controller contains a high metal content; thus, it can be easily recycled and used in the production of new industrial machines once its usefulness as an industrial controller has been exhausted.

The DDS02.1-K050-DA01-00/S002 drive controller contains a power circuit that can generate a leakage current, 3.5 milliamperes; thus, it should be connected to an external grounding system before operation. The housing of this contains special interfaces through which configurational modules can be inserted into the housing of the controller. The exchange of digital information between this controller and all other parts of the servo system is controlled by the SERCOS master communication interface. This industrial controller is perfectly safe for industrial operations; however, it can cause dangerous movements if it is operated with the wrong wiring or configuration modules; thus, it should be operated according to the instructions in the controller's documentation.

The maximum permissible temperature at which this controller should be installed is about 45 degrees Celsius; however, if the controller is not required for immediate operation, it can be stored in at an ambient temperature that falls between -35 to about +85 degrees celsius.
