The DDS02.1-A200-DS32-00 is a new-generation industrial control device designed by Rexroth Indrmat to improve industrial production by accurately controlling the operation of industrial motors over a broad speed range. This device is manufactured by well-trained engineers according to international quality standards; under normal operating conditions; this controller operates with an efficiency as high as 95 percent. The DDS02.1-A200-DS32-00 industrial drive controller can control different types of industrial motors, such as the MDD synchronous motor, the MKD synchronous motor, and the LAR induction motor. The ability of this controller to operate with a wide variety of industrial motors makes it very relevant in metal forming industries, paper converting industries, food production industries, and lots more.
The DDS02.1-A200-DS32-00 drive controller connects to the industrial motor through two major types of electrical cables; the motor feedback cable and the power cable. The power cable conducts electrical energy from the controller into the industrial motor while the motor feedback cable is used for the exchange of digital information between the encoder of the motor and the controller. The DDS02.1-A200-DS32-00 is perfectly safe for industrial operation; however, it can initiate dangerous movements if it is operated with the wrong configurational parameters or wiring connections. The maximum input current that can be used by this controller for operation is about 200 amperes; however, under normal conditions, this controller uses an input current of about 80 amperes.
The DDS02.1-A200-DS32-00 contains a SERCOS communication interface which controls the exchange of digital information between the controller and all other parts of the servo system. This controller should not be operated at a temperature that exceeds 45 degrees celsius as this can cause rapid overheating in the device's housing.
