The Bosch Rexroth DDS02.1-A150-RC01-01-FW drive controller can be mounted in a small housing or control cabinet without making use of heat exchangers. This drive controller should be mounted on the rear wall of the cabinet by using a mounting plate. The signal and supply lines of the product must be checked for routing away from each other to avoid interference. The basic unit comprises a fault reset key and a status display on its top. The status display highlights various warning and error messages. The controller features two terminals L+ and L- for DC bus connection. The product comes with a drive lockout connection on its X3 connector.
The device has two analog diagnostic inputs. The basic unit has a blower connection at its bottom. The motor power cable provided by the manufacturer to connect the drive controller and the motor has three lines for the motor power connection as well as one line for the protective conductor connection. This cable has a maximum length of 75m. The product makes use of resolver feedback. It uses an INTERBUS-S interface as its communications module. Multiple controllers are connected adjacent to each other by means of DC bus rails. The X1 connector of this device is used for its control electronics.
The drive controller is integrated with a “Bb” ready to operate contact that closes when the controller is ready to receive power. This contact has a switching capacity of 24VDC and 1A. The starting lockout of the product helps in bringing the moving drive axes to standstill mode. The lockout can be activated by applying a voltage of 20VDC to 30VDC between its input terminals. The device needs to be commissioned before it is put to use.
