The Bosch DDS02.1-A150-DL01-00 is a drive controller. It is used in conjunction with MDD, MKD and LAC AC motors for industrial applications such as textiles, robotics and handling machines. DDS drive controllers can be connected to Rexroth supply units with regulated 24 Volts DC voltage output. The DDS02.1-A150-DL01-00 is a modular controller than can be adapted for specific requirements. The controller hardware is comprised of a basic unit, plug in modules and software modules. The controller software is comprised of the firmware. The software module contains both the firmware and drive parameters and installs in slot U5 of the basic module. The particular software module needed depends on the selected hardware configuration and functions of the drive. If a controller needs to be replaced, then the software module from the faulty controller can be easily installed in the replacement controller.
This drastically reduces setup time for the new controller. The functional features of the firmware are fixed by the firmware. The controller firmware has to be ordered separately. The communication module installs in slot U1 on the basic module. The plug in modules install in slots U2 to U4 on the controller basic module. Available plug in modules include analog interface with incremental encode emulator, analog interface with absolute encoder emulator, single axis positioning module, Interbus S slave interface, command card, ARCNET coupler cards, input / output interface and incremental position interface. The DDS02.1-A150-DL01-00 has a current rating of 150 Amps. The motor feedback supported is digital servo feedback. The communication module on the controller is a single-axis position control module. The DDS02.1-A150-DL01-00 controller uses the air from inside the control cabinet for cooling.
