The DDS02.1-A150-DA02-01-FW model is a specially designed drive controller to operate in conjunction with the accessories and modules specified for the DIAX04 drive system. The model is a part of a digital intelligent drive system and is widely used in various industrial automation sectors. The DDS02.1 drive controller is equipped with 5 slots that can be customized according to the required operations. Slot 1 of the basic unit is equipped with a DAA01.1 analog interface with an absolute encoder emulator that helps in developing communication between the system and it also generates actual position values that meet the synchronous serial interface standard. Slot 2 – 4 of the controller are empty and a cover is placed on them. The firmware module (DSM 02.1) is installed in the U5 slot of the drive controller and it contains the operating software of the module. The DDS02.1 drive controller should be used according to the environmental temperature range suggested in the DDS user manual. The model DDS02.1-A150-DA02-01-FW is protected under the IP10 protection category that provides resistance against 50 mm solid particles but it will not provide any protection against liquids. The firmware module for this unit must be ordered as a sub-item. The basic unit consumes 150 – 500 mA of power whereas, the DAA01.1 module consumes 30 – 70 mA of power. The controller can be stored ideally under the permissible temperature range of -30 to +85 degree Celsius. During continuous operation, the control dissipates 80 W of power in the form of heat.
