Product Description
The DDS02.1-A100-DS22-02-FW/S002 motor drive is an improved control system designed by the Rexroth Indramat. It functions to generate fast and precise control of the speed of industrial machines involved in many industrial processes. Under normal operating conditions, this controller receives command signals from a control system, amplifies these signals, and transmits electric current to a servo motor in order to produce motion proportional to the command received signal. The servo drive is designed to be placed inside a control cabinet with a compacted appearance that prevents ingression of extrinsic solid particles greater than 50mm in diameter.
The DDS02.1-A100-DS22-02-FW/S002 drive system uses the SERCOS real-time communication interface, which is a digital interface between the drive system and the servo motor connected to it; this communication interface produces a fast feedback response. The drive system consumes a direct current (DC) of 500 milliamperes to generate a regulated 24 volts for the control of a wide range of servo motors. The digital servo feedback compares the actual motor status with the commanded motor status; it then alters the voltage, frequency, or pulse width to the motor to correct any deviation from the commanded status.
The DDS02.1-A100-DS22-02-FW/S002 drive system, in conjunction with the Synchronous motor MDD, MKD, and Inductance linear motor LAR AC motors, the DDS drive controller can meet the operation requirements of complex industrial machines. This drive is particularly well suited for use in machine tools, textile, printing, and packaging machinery, as well as robotics and handling machines. It has a maximum permissible surrounding temperature of 45 degrees. Celsius; operations under hotter conditions might lead to low efficiency or possible damage on the drive.
