The DDS02.1-A100-DS06-00/S002 is a new generation industrial servo drive designed by Rexroth Indramat according to the American and European quality standards. This controller is a cost-effective device that can operate for more than five years without experiencing any major mechanical or electrical error. The DDS02.1-A100-DS06-00/S002 industrial controller is manufactured with materials containing a high metal content; thus, it can be easily recycled and used to manufacture new industrial devices once its usefulness as an industrial controller has been exhausted. This controller is also supplied as a fully configured unit that contains the software module, plug-in module, and some auxiliary plug-in modules. The exchange of digital information between this controller and all other parts of the industrial servo system is controlled by the SERCOS communication interface; this interface offers inputs for evaluating reference switches, travel range limit switches, and sensor inputs
The DC bus voltage used by this industrial servo drive is about 300 volts, while the rated current is 100 amperes. The electrical components of this industrial controller generate electromagnetic waves during operation; this wave can interfere with the operation of important medical devices such as hearing aids, metal implants, and pacemakers; persons wearing any of these devices should not be allowed to move near the industrial servo drive. The DDS02.1-A100-DS06-00/S002 industrial drive controller is about 390 millimeters long and 60 millimeters thick; this housing is also specially structured to allow for the easy integration of the controller into the industrial servo system.
The DDS02.1-A100-DS06-00/S002 should not be operated in an environment with a humidity level high than 90 percent or an ambient temperature higher than 45 degrees Celsius.
