Product Description
After Indramat’s acquisition by Bosch Rexroth, the two firms collaborated to produce a state-of-the-art automation system. Indramat’s drive controllers are particularly effective in printing, textile, and packaging industries. The controllers are used for the automation of machine tools in various other industries as well.
The DDS02.1-A050-D drive controller is used with the LAR, MDD, and MKD motors produced by the company. The drive controller is used for executing the servomechanism that allows position and speed control in these motors. The drive controller uses the Resolver feedback for its closed-loop feedback system. For cooling, the drive uses the heat technology in which heat is dissipated inside the control cabinet. This type of very little effort during installation and mounting, but the control cabinet has to be relatively large in size, and air conditioning might be needed. For a maximum peak current of 50 A, the system's continuous current can be set at 50 A. The DDS02.1-A050-D comes with multiple accessories that are instrumental for the effective functioning of the drive controller. The accessories include an electrical kit, a connector kit, a service cable, and mechanical accessories.
The DDS02.1-A050-D can be retrofitted with various plug-in modules depending upon the required functionality. The device supports the ANALOG interface that comes with an incremental encoder emulator. This enables the control of AC servo drives with conventional controls through an analog interface. Actual position values can also be obtained through this plug-in because it generates incremental encoder signals. A gearwheel encoder interface can also be installed as an additional plug-in module. This interface helps to evaluate the motor's main spindle position encoder. The DDS02.1-A050-D is a great motion control system for Rexroth’s industrial motors. This product can be purchased from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
