The Rexroth Indramat DDC01.2-N200A-DS45-00-FW is a digital servo drive. The rated 200 Amps output is delivered when the ambient conditions comply with manufacturer recommendations: these recommendations include maximum 1000 meters elevation and 5 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature. Outside these recommended ranges, the drive output will derate i.e. reduce to values that are less than the rated value. For example, the output derates to 80% of rated values at 55 degrees Celsius, and to 65% of rated values at 5000 meters elevation. Operation of the DDC01.2-N200A-DS45-00-FW at temperatures exceeding 55 degrees Celsius can lead to equipment damage. Drive operation outside manufacturer recommended ambient conditions also voids the warranty and should therefore be avoided. The housing of the DDC01.2-N200A-DS45-00-FW is IP 65 rated. The drive can be connected to three-phase mains rated at 220 Volts AC or 230 Volts AC (50 to 60 Hertz).
It may be necessary to install an RF suppression filter in the mains supply if the DDC01.2-N200A-DS45-00-FW is operated in light industrial or residential areas. This helps to limit the emission of interference. The drive is rated for standard noise emission at motor. Digital servo feedback and SERCOS command module are available on the drive. Other features supported by DDC 1.2 drives include contactor for power supply isolation, direct connection to AC power source, longer lifespan with currentless switching, integrated DC bus dynamic braking, motor holding brake, programmable error reactions and ease of service. A configuration rating plate, which is mounted on the front panel, contains information about eh servo drive, the basic unit, the software module and the plug-in cards. In case of drive malfunction, the rating plate can be used to configure a basic unit or to obtain a corresponding unit. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
