The Rexroth Indramat DDC01.2-N050A-DS01-02-FW is a DDC series three-phase digital drive controller. It features several function performance features including IP 65 rated housing, long lifespan due to currentless switching, direct connection to 220 Volts AC input, support for plug-in modules and ease of service. Basic unit of the controller includes a DC bus converter. A bleeder resistor is also available on the DDC01.2-N050A-DS01-02-FW for absorption of energy generated during braking. Slot U5 on the basic module of the controller is reserved for the software module. Parameters stored in the software module allow the controller to be tuned to the application. The software module can be duplicated for use in similar controllers or for storage. Slot U1 on the system is reserved for the command communication module, which for the DDC01.2-N050A-DS01-02-FW is SERCOS. The SERCOS module enables digital drives to be operated vis optical fiber cables.
