This digital drive operates by regulating the amount of electric current it sends to the motor according to the signals it receives from the control unit. The drive controller can be configured by the insertion of special configuration modules into special slots present in the controller’s housing unit. The configuration modules used with this drive controller include the DLC single-axis module, the DSM software module, and the auxiliary plug-in module.
