Product Description
The DDC01.1-K150A-DS03-02-FW is an air-cooled DDC 1.1 drive unit manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This unit operates at a frequency of 50 – 60 Hertz and has a rated current of 150 A. It is a Class A device, and not suitable for use in light industrial or residential areas. If it will be used in any case, a radio interference suppression filter will be required on the mains supply line to limit the effects of interference and ensure that the permissible levels are not exceeded. The input voltage is 3-phased at 220 V or 230 V. Also, the PWM frequency of the DDC01.1-K150A-DS03-02-FW is 4 kHz.
The integral bleeder resistor on the DDC01.1-K150A-DS03-02-FW generates a lot of heat during operation, and for this reason, the drive unit must be mounted at a minimum safe distance of 300 mm away from flammable materials such as PVC cable conduits, etc. In general, DDC 1.1 servo drive units are maintenance-free but if operated under harsh environmental conditions, the heatsink must be checked regularly for clogging. When installing the DDC01.1-K150A-DS03-02-FW, it is important to ensure that all air outlets are not obstructed and cable bend radius is maintained.
When a fault is detected, and a braking operation is initiated, the energy held up in the DDC01.1-K150A-DS03-02-FW is absorbed by its integrated bleeder. The bleeder resistor features a continuous power rated at 0.25 kW, and this value must not be exceeded. The connecting voltage of this DDC 1.1 unit is adapted to the mains voltage via a transformer that operates optimally at an ambient temperature of 40 degrees C. For special mains conditions and control enclosure installations, an isolating transformer is recommended. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
