The IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-NN-FW Control Section module is designed to be used with the IndraDrive series of motors. This module requires 24 Volts DC to operate and relies on power sections like the HMU05 for operating it. The IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-NN-FW Control Section module measures 103 mm x 241 mm x 49.5 mm and has an enclosure rating of IP 20 protecting against level 2 ingress however it does not protect against moisture hence the module should be operated in condition with less than 85 % humidity for optimal performance.

For communicating with other modules over the network the IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-NN-FW Control Section module features Multi-Ethernet interface support allowing it to send and receive commands from multiple sources all at once. For High-Speed serial communication on the go, the IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-NN-FW Control Section module also supports the SERCOS III master communication interface that allows this control section module to control the motors connected to it. This allows the control section unit to move the motor based on the user's requirements and also provides error detection and troubleshooting control.

The module has a maximum operating temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and the enclosure can tolerate temperatures of up to 60 degrees Celsius. Since the control section does not have a cooling fan the IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-NN-NN-FW Control Section module relies on natural connection and can require up to 140 minutes to cool down. The time required for cooling down is approximately five times the thermal time constant of the module. This control section module supports the FWA-INDRV*-MPx-19VRS or higher firmware which must be ordered as a separate subposition. The module supports 20 to 14 AWG wires for connecting the points to other modules.
