The IndraDrive Control Section CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-EC-NN-FW module for Rexroth Bosch is a Single Axis drive control unit. This control section is designed to manage and coordinate the operation of the entire IndraDrive drive system. This particular model belongs to series 2 and has design 5. The module features 11 Digital inputs along with 5 user configurable channels which can also be used as either inputs or outputs.

For communication, the CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-EC-NN-FW relies on the SERCOS III master communication protocol which is particularly designed for motion control systems. The SERCOS III master allows for real-time high-speed communication between control devices, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motion controllers, drives, and other automation components. One of many interfaces featured in this control section module is the Multi-encoder interface that allows this module to communicate with different types of encoder systems installed on a motor. In this particular model, there are two Multi-encoder interfaces. The Multi-encoder interface allows the control section to control and know the position of the motor shaft at all times. 

With the Multi-Ethernet interface, the IndraDrive Control Section CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-EC-NN-FW module can be controlled via a network with multiple ethernet connections. Devices can aggregate their capacity by using multiple Ethernet connections, which increases data speed. This is especially beneficial for applications that demand high-speed data transfer required in industrial automation systems that handle massive volumes of data. The module does not have safety motion technology. It is recommended to operate this module in an environment with less than 60 degrees Celsius of ambient temperature and should be kept in a dry environment with humidity between 15 and 85% for optimum performance. The control section module when connected with other IndraDrive modules should be mounted at a maximum altitude of 2000 meters.
