Product Description
CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EM-L3-DA-NN-FW is a modular control section. Along with a power section, firmware, and control panel, it forms a Bosch IndraDrive series controller. It is equipped with one multi-encoder interface which allows controller use with several motor encoders. The control section is also equipped with an encoder emulation module. This module allows replication of encoder signals for testing and calibration. Encoder emulation modules are used during testing and development and allow engineers to validate system functionality. The CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EM-L3-DA-NN-FW is also equipped with a safe torque off safety module. Safe torque off or STO is a technology that allows safe deactivation of motor torque generation. This feature helps to prevent unintended operation during servicing and maintenance. Another digital/analog I/O extension module installed on the control section provides additional digital and analog I/O for control system applications.
Bosch has designed the CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EM-L3-DA-NN-FW for single-axis applications i.e. applications that focus on a single axis of motion. Examples of single axis applications include conveyor belts, linear actuation positioning and spindle control. Control sections for dual-axis applications are also available. Master communication interface on the CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EM-L3-DA-NN-FW is Multi-Ethernet. The dual Ethernet interfaces allow simultaneous communication with an upstream node and a downstream node. Standard twisted pair copper Ethernet cables can be used for full-duplex communication at 100 Mbps data rate. A standard control panel is compatible with the CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EM-L3-DA-NN-FW and must be connected to the control section while the latter is powered off. A single line display and keypad on the control panel allows configuration and monitoring of controller status during routine operations. Only trained technical staff should install and operate the control section. Operators must follow recommended safety precautions to prevent accident and injury.
